George Dimogerontas is a neurosurgeon specializing in Classical and Modern (slightly invasive) spine surgery as well as Functional Neurosurgery. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens from which he graduated in 1998.
He is the only certified Neurosurgeon in Greece! and one of the first neurosurgeons in Europe to use the ExcelsiusGPS (Globus) robotic system in spine surgery.
He specialized in neurosurgery for six years (2002-2008) at the Neurosurgical Clinic of Asclepius Voula where he continued to serve for three years (2009-2012) as a Curator of Neurosurgery, specializing further in spinal surgery, in neurosurgery, in operative neurosurgery trauma to the Central Nervous System.
He has served as a Neurosurgery Curator at the Neurosurgical Clinic of Asclepius Voula for three years, where he further specialized in Spine Surgery, Functional Neurosurgery as well as Neurosurgery and Neurosurgery in Oncology and Neurosurgery. and the Metropolitan Hospital Spine for four years.
He currently serves as Director of Neurosurgery - Spine Surgeon & Head of Neurosurgical Clinic of Metropolitan Nursing Home, offering his services to both adults and children.
He has presented 158 papers in Greek and international conferences and has published 25 articles in Greek and international journals.
